Each participant can only receive the number of credits corresponding to his or her actual participation in the event, and only after completing the congress evaluation form. Individual certificates are issued by the congress secretariat once the evaluation form has been completed.
For a certificate or for any question about credits, please write to secretariat@eulm.org.
The accreditation includes the recording option, which extends the accreditation to the full recording of the educational material made available online. This option is valid for a maximum of six months after the congress. People viewing the recordings during that period are entitled to credits in the same way as participants to the live event, on the basis of the number of hours actually viewed. A participant may not obtain credits both for attending a session live and for watching the same session as a recording.
Through an agreement between the European Union of Medical Specialists and the American Medical Association, physicians may convert EACCME® credits to an equivalent number of AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Information on the process to convert EACCME® credit to AMA credit can be found at edhub.ama-assn.org/pages/applications.
Live educational activities occurring outside of Canada, recognised by the UEMS-EACCME® for ECMEC®s are deemed to be Accredited Group Learning Activities (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
Credit will be converted based on one hour of participation equalling one credit for all activities. Physicians and other health care professionals will be required to pay a processing fee to the AMA. For other countries, please contact the relevant national or regional accreditation authority.
